Kinship (noun): The web of social relationships that shape human connections and communities.
At the core of every successful program or event is one simple truth: people matter. Trust-building, collaboration, and designing with people, not just for them, are key to creating lasting impact.
Throughout my career, I’ve seen that the best initiatives aren’t just well-funded or well-intentioned; they are co-created, deeply rooted in community, and adaptable to the needs of the people they serve. I founded Kinship Co-Lab to leverage the power of relationships to drive meaningful change.
For over a decade, I’ve worked across the nonprofit, philanthropic, and private sectors, serving in roles ranging from Program Manager to Executive Director. I’ve worked with mission-driven organizations to launch, manage, and scale impactful initiatives locally and globally.
Beyond program development, I specialize in designing and producing events of all sizes, from community listening sessions to full-scale conferences. My work is guided by Human-Centered Design principles, ensuring every program, training, and event is engaging, innovative, and results-driven.
I hold a BA from Howard University and an MA from St. John’s University. As a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Culture of Health Leader and Democracy at Work Institute SEED Fellow, I apply a systems-thinking approach to every project.
Let’s build something impactful together.
